Who am I? (Biography)
Hi, I am known online as HoodyP / HoodyPisDed!I am an independent artist who specializes in character illustrations, character designs, and also a VOCALOID music producer myself (I mainly use SynthV and UTAU as vocals for my songs)!My works and art style/aesthetics are mainly inspired after odd and toony non-human characters made by big western animation studios, and also obscure and weird surrealist medias!My favorite medias that contributed as inspirations to my works include:
- The Ratchet and Clank series (and other video game furry mascot titles)
- Yume Nikki
- Osamu Sato works (LSD, Roly Polys)
- Horror/Weird RPG Maker games (such as Ib, OFF, Space Funeral, Parun's games, etc)
- General VOCALOID and indie J-Pop media (usually the more darker and sadder songs lol)
- Media made by western animation studios (Dreamworks, Illumination, Blue Sky Studios, etc)What is a VOCALOID music producer (for those who aren't aware about it)?:
Basically, music producers who use vocal synth softwares (such as VOCALOID, Cevio, SynthV, UTAU, etc) as vocals! Usually it's associated with the genre of electro pop music, and originally popularized through the NicoNicoDouga/anime community!
A well known example of them are ones who used Crypton Future Media characters/voices (Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin/Len, KAITO, MEIKO and Megurine Luka) in their music!
